Monday Studio er glade for igen at kunne byde dig velkommen til en weekend med kunsten og festivitas i fokus, når vi til “Off The Wall - Tissue” fejre kunstens mange kreatører - en uformel hyldest til den spirende kunst og kreativiteten der findes omkring os.

Vi åbner dørene til udstillingen Tissue  Torsdag d. 06/10 kl 16.00

Kunstnere gennem historien har været fascinerede af menneskets dødelige kroppe - den surrealistiske følelse af, at vores hylster regenerere og visner kontinuerligt imens vi er i live. “Tissue” vil indkapsle en kødfyldt kunstverden, med værker der viser den dyriske side af vores forvredne, smukke og komplicerede kroppe.

Monday Studio præsenterer med “Tissue” en gruppeudstillingen med nogle af de sejeste kreative ildsjæle vi huser. På væggene finder du:

Med “Tissue” træder du direkte ind i vores undersøgelse af væv og krop og vil om muligt kunne genkende dig selv og din omverden; det levende og pulserende, det mørke og rådnende - det der tager bo i os alle i en eller anden form.

Vi præsenterer en serie af værker hvor vævet er pyntet og sat til skue, hvor du som beskuer nu har lov til at kigge objektivt på “kødet” som vores verden består af. Vi åbner her en midlertidig port ind til intime øjeblikke og en intens sårbarhed, med kroppen i sin helhed der er sat til fuldt skue. Det er en intim oplevelse du ikke må gå glip af.

DJ fAulE aUgen svinger dagens musik tema og byder på playlister af bedste skuffe…

Vinen, samt læskende drikke fra Fuglsang & Frits Kola er sat i køleren - det er Cheap as f*ck prices… no need to bring your own!

Monday Studio is happy to once again welcome you to another round of art and festivities this weekend, when we are hosting “OFF THE WALL - Tissue”. We are celebrating the local creators - a casual tribute to the emerging artscene and the creatives that are around us.

Doors open  Thursday  06/10 at 16.00

Artists throughout history have been fascinated with the mortal bodies of humans - the surreal feeling that our shell is regenerating and withering away at every moment. “Tissue” will encapsulate a flesh filled artworld, with works that show the animalistic nature of our contorted, beautiful, decomposing and complicated bodies.

Monday Studio presents with “Tissue” a group show with some of the crisp and most creative souls that we have in house. You’ll find the following artists on the walls:

With “Tissue”, you will step right into an examination of flesh and the body, where you will have the chance to recognize yourself and your surroundings; the living and pulsating, the dark and rotting - that which takes place in all of us in one way or another.

We present a series of artworks that decorates and puts the tissue on display, where you as the audience can feel free to take an objective look at the “flesh” that our world is made up of. We are opening a temporary gate to confidential moments and an intense vulnerability, where the body is on full display. It is an intimate experience that you wanna miss.

DJ fAulE aUgen will be curating the musical theme of the day, and we will offer up some of the greatest playlists in Vesterbro.

The wine, and other lovely drinks from Fuglsang and Frits is in the fridge - they are cheap as f*ck, so no need to bring your own!
