Art Monday was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 from a belief that art and culture should feel approachable.

We exist to build bridges. Between underground culture and everyday life. Between artists and audiences. Between people who create and people who are simply curious.

We believe that culture grows through relationships, conversations and shared experiences. Not through distance.

Our ambition has never been to make art more exclusive. Quite the opposite.

We want to create spaces where people feel welcome, where different communities can meet, and where good work speaks louder than big statements.

Over time, Art Monday has developed into a cultural label working across several formats. Different expressions connected through one identity, represented by the monochrome rainbow that has been part of Art Monday since the beginning.

Art Monday is the foundation that connects everything we do.

As a creative label and production platform, Art Monday develops exhibitions, collaborations, publications and independent projects that bring together artists, creative communities and audiences.

Rather than focusing on one discipline, Art Monday moves freely between art, design, publishing and culture. The goal is not to fit within a specific category, but to create meaningful projects that people can engage with.

Under Art Monday also lives WE WEAR ART FIRST, our ongoing line of objects and apparel.

For us, merchandise is not simply promotional material. It is another way of sharing ideas and allowing art to exist beyond traditional formats. Something you can wear, use and bring into everyday life.
