Casper Verdier operates in the tension between seriousness and play, between the beautiful and the grotesque, the light and the dark. With a bold figurative expressionist style, rich symbolism, and intense colors, he builds a visual universe that stirs emotions and invites reflection.

His works depict human figures in moments of rupture or transformation, feelings that arrive unfiltered, and situations that seem oddly familiar. There’s division, frustration, love, hate – and all that in between. But it’s never without humor or irony. For Casper, art is a playground for thoughts, a space where we can feel more honestly – without needing to take everything so seriously.
