Monday Studio presents Gabriel Hintenaus with "Disconnection and Quarantine Moments"
- an introspective journey into an atmospheric parallel universe born during the second lockdown where bodies exist in the liminal space between presence and absence. Known for his work in the entertainment industry, Gabriel pivots inward with this collection, exploring emotional isolation through oil and digital techniques. Quiet, fractured, and profoundly human.

"Disconnection and Quarantine Moments"
There’s a quiet hum beneath Gabriel Hintenaus’ works, an atmosphere you don’t see as much as feel. In his paintings and drawings, figures linger in stillness, caught mid-thought, mid-smoke, mid-exit. Whether rendered in fractured oils, scratchy charcoal, or layered digital textures, his characters seem paused between presence and absence, present physically, but mentally elsewhere.
Disconnection and Quarantine Moments gathers a series of these atmospheric works made during the second COVID-19 lockdown. Without aiming to narrate, they end up telling a story of isolation, quiet fragmentation, and the many shades of being alone.
Gabriel Hintenaus, originally from Austria and now based in Copenhagen, merges his background in illustration and concept design with a deep personal urge to reflect, pause, and observe. Known from high-profile projects in the entertainment industry, he returns here to something more fragile. Something human.
