Thank F*ck for Art is for anyone who's ever drawn something instead of suppressing their emotions. Born from the grime and glow of real life, this project celebrates art that doesn’t perform. It survives.

Monday Studio x Baskwa are putting work on the wall that shouldn’t be hidden in a drawer. We don’t believe in clean edges. We believe in scars, mistakes and showing up anyway. This show is a messy, honest tribute to how creation keeps us alive and connected. It’s not about perfection. It’s not about the comeback. It’s about survival, community and the small, stubborn joy of still being here.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Five artists, five different takes on survival through art.

Expect graffiti with hidden messages, painted astronauts searching for identity, raw film photography that gambles with chance, and paintings that carry memory and emotion. What ties them together is honesty. The need to create as a way of staying alive.

This line-up brings colour, grit and vulnerability to the wall, inviting you into a universe where art confesses.

MEET THE ARTISTS

Kuda (@baskwa)Painter and writer exploring emotions, memory and survival. “It’s how I process life. It helps me see what I’m carrying, and sometimes helps other people do the same.”

Mai (@maieldon)Visual artist & skateboarder. Known for her recurring astronaut figure that reflects identity, curiosity and alienation. “Making art is like breathing for me.”

Dafne (@dafnelechuga)Madrid-born photographer & video editor. Works with film, blind portraits and the small details of life. “Art is my way back to myself, and a language when words don’t work.”

Doug (@dougarki.mov)Video editor & analogue film shooter with Nicaraguan roots. “Film is my version of gambling. You never know how it turns out, and that’s what keeps me hooked.”

LZHN (@lzhn.dk)Copenhagen graffiti & street artist. Bold colors, characters, and hidden messages rooted in skateboarding and hip-hop culture. “I see enough darkness in this world – making art is my way of balancing the scales.”
