STORM//PETRA returns to Monday Studio with a new collection.What started as a meeting between two very different ways of working continues to develop somewhere between art, clothing and a few new things, that doesn’t need a name – yet!

STORM//PETRA is the ongoing collaboration between designer Vigga Storm and artist Bob Petra. Two individual practices brought together by a shared interest in making things by hand, letting materials lead the way and allowing the imperfect to become part of the finished work.

Storm works through colour, textiles, construction and form. Petra works through drawings, graphics and a visual language that moves between the raw, the fragile and the slightly off. Put together, the two practices begin to interfere with each other – drawings become garments, textiles become surfaces, and individual works turn into something neither would have made alone.

This October, STORM//PETRA presents its newest collection at Monday Studio

– a new series of one-off and limited pieces created somewhere between wearable work and artwork. Alongside the collection, a series of zines documents the project through images and fragments from the process.

Not quite fashion.

Not quite an exhibition.

Probably somewhere in between.
