About
MONDAY MISC is Monday Studio's recurring get-together on the first weekend of every month – a mixed bag by design. Different artists, different styles, different mediums, brought together in one space rather than kept apart. The point is the mix: what happens when work that would normally never share a wall suddenly does.
We're now looking for artists to take part in the Monday Misc weekends from December 2026 to April 2027.
Who can apply
Open to all artists, regardless of age, background, experience, or discipline. Painting, drawing, print, photography, illustration, sculpture, objects, textile, and sound works are all welcome. For sound works, tell us briefly in your application what the piece needs to be shown (e.g. speakers or headphones).
As always, we encourage newcomers. Championing lesser-known and emerging artists has been part of the point from the beginning.
How to apply
Fill out the application form at the end of this page. Share up to 10 images of the work you would like to show (or a link to where we can see or hear it), and tell us which weekend(s) you're available for.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Selection is carried out by the Monday Studio team, based solely on the submitted material. Submission does not guarantee inclusion.
If selected, you'll receive an email confirming the weekend, the practical details, and Monday Studio's exhibition terms.

Terms
Taking part is free of charge. Art Monday takes a 50% commission on all works sold during the event, including original works and prints.
You provide your own works and are responsible for producing, delivering, preparing them for hanging, and collecting them. Art Monday does not cover production, framing, printing, shipping, or related costs unless otherwise agreed in advance.
All Monday Misc events are subject to Monday Studio's standard exhibition terms and conditions.
Rights
Artists retain full copyright of their work. By taking part, selected artists grant Art Monday the right to use images of the exhibited works for promotion of the event – website, social media, newsletter, and press. No other use will be made without prior agreement.

The space
Monday Studio on Vesterbro is an art and book shop, tattoo studio, and event space under one roof – home of Art Monday, Monday Magazine, and BLÆKBAR. Monday Misc turns the shop into a room where many kinds of work meet for a weekend: new faces next to familiar ones, prints next to objects, quiet work next to loud.
